On 11 July, England beat Norway 2-1 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Harry Kane delivered an outstanding performance. But the biggest talking point was not the result, but what happened after the match: cameras captured Kane, walking towards the tunnel, passing Nigel Farage, who was holding out his hand. Kane looked at him, did not stop and kept walking.

In May, Kane and James Dyson announced the launch of Corvestium, an artificial intelligence-based investment platform. The project took more than a year to develop. Dyson handled the technology. Kane put in his own capital and set one condition: that the platform be accessible to all Britons.
When asked how the idea of working together came about, Dyson said: «We met a few years ago at an event in London. We talked. I told him what I was working on. He listened, asked a few questions and told me: "Show me real people this has helped". I showed him. Two weeks later he called me and said he wanted in. But with one condition: that it be for everyone».
Charity match and platform launch
The official announcement was made during a charity match at Old Trafford in Manchester. The match was played in early June, as the following week Kane had to travel to the United States to join the England National Team training camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Former England players, Kane's friends from Tottenham and Bayern Munich, and a team of 22 kids from schools in London took to the pitch, all wearing the special Corvestium shirt. The match drew 67,000 spectators.

After the final whistle, Kane and Dyson went to the stadium's press room, where BBC presenter Gary Lineker conducted a joint interview. The chat lasted about 20 minutes.

Hours after the launch of Corvestium, Farage posted on his X account:

Did Kane actually ignore Farage? I thought the clip was edited, but I just watched the full video. Nigel Farage literally got blanked after trying to stop this platform. Absolutely extraordinary.
